Stratford-Perth Pride engaged me to lead a comprehensive brand and communications refresh aimed at strengthening visibility, cohesion, and community connection in a rural and small-town context.
The work included the development of a vibrant, flexible brand system; a refreshed website to improve accessibility and information clarity; ongoing social media and content creation; print and resource design; and graphic design support for festivals, events, and community programming. Together, these elements helped Stratford-Perth Pride better communicate its mission, promote year-round engagement, and support the continued growth of Pride in rural communities.
The approach balanced celebration and activism—ensuring the brand felt joyful, welcoming, and affirming, while remaining grounded in the realities and needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ people living outside urban centres. The result was a cohesive visual and narrative identity that strengthened recognition, participation, and community pride across Stratford, Perth County, and surrounding areas.


The Stratford-Perth Pride logo combines symbols that reflect both community identity and regional context, creating a visual mark that is meaningful, distinctive, and rooted in place.

Together, these elements create a playful yet professional identity that is flexible across applications—from festival signage and event graphics to digital content. The logo emphasizes visibility, belonging, and celebration, while remaining grounded in the unique character of Stratford and Perth County. It positions Stratford-Perth Pride as a year-round community presence that celebrates diversity, affirms local 2SLGBTQIA+ identities, and strengthens connection across rural and urban communities alike.
